Job Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured.
- Assess patient conditions, determine necessary medical treatments, and administer appropriate emergency procedures.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and in accordance with state laws and company policies.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen delivery systems, and suction devices effectively.
- Collaborate with other emergency response teams, including paramedics, firefighters, and law enforcement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports and documentation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of emergency vehicles and equipment.
- Provide patient care in accordance with established medical protocols and company guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Educate and inform patients and their families about emergency medical procedures and care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved EMT training program.
- Current EMT certification as required by state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous duties, including lifting and moving patients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range
