Job Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and explaining the process.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, handing instruments and materials as needed.
- Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe, clean clinical area.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, following proper safety protocols.
- Update patient records accurately, recording treatment information and medical history.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral care guidance to patients as directed.
- Manage supply inventory, ensuring that treatment areas are fully stocked.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with the front desk as necessary.
- Handle administrative tasks, including patient billing and insurance forms, when required.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations to uphold a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant training program preferred.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and x-ray safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Salary Range
