Job Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations, including X-rays, to assess oral health and diagnose dental conditions.

• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and other conditions of the teeth, gums, and supporting bones.

• Educate patients about oral health care techniques such as brushing and flossing.

• Perform preventative dental procedures such as cleaning and fluoride treatments.

• Apply fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, and implants to restore teeth and gums.

• Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings.

• Analyze treatment options and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.

• Educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health.

• Guide dietary habits and lifestyle choices that impact oral health.

• Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

• Refer patients to specialists as needed or requested.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality.

Job Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.

Salary Range
