- Accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and summaries to support informed decision-making.
- Manage vendor invoices, process payments, and oversee customer invoicing and collections.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor and track business expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Assist with payroll processing, including accurately calculating and recording employee wages, taxes, and benefits.
- Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized financial documentation for audits.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- (X+ years) as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
