Job Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other relevant medical information.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications or injections under the direction of the healthcare provider.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide emotional support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for patients.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Verify patient insurance information and handle billing and coding as required.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering medical supplies.
- Follow strict protocols for infection control and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
- Educate patients on infection control measures and proper hygiene.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
- CPR certification.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- A compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

- Venipuncture and intramuscular injection skills.
- Vital signs measurement (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with EHR software.
