Medical Assistant Job Description
We seek a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. In this role, you will provide critical support to our healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our facility. Job Responsibilities
Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other relevant medical information.
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
Administer medications or injections under the direction of the healthcare provider.
Ensure patient comfort and provide emotional support as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for patients.
Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
Verify patient insurance information and handle billing and coding as required.
Assist in managing inventory and ordering medical supplies.
Follow strict protocols for infection control and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
Educate patients on infection control measures and proper hygiene.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program is preferred.
Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
CPR certification.
2+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.
Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
A compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

Venipuncture and intramuscular injection skills.
Vital signs measurement (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with EHR software.
