Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more.

• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and make recommendations to customers.

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of coffee equipment.

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and provide prompt service.

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

• Keep the café clean and organized, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.

• Consistently create high-quality drinks by following recipes and maintaining a keen eye for detail.

• Operate and maintain coffee machines and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed, ensuring proper inventory management.

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a Barista in a café or coffee shop setting.

• A passion for coffee and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

• Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain it).

• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Must be able to handle a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Knowledge of various coffee brewing techniques and latte art preferred.

• Knowledge of coffee bean varieties and roast profiles.

• Proficiency with coffee machines and brewing equipment.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration.

• Time management and multitasking abilities.

• Cash handling and point-of-sale system proficiency.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
