Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, using a combination of psychotherapy, medications, and other therapeutic approaches
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide counseling and support to patients dealing with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
- Work closely with other healthcare providers, including therapists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment methods
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and the available treatment options
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards in psychiatric practice
Job Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Psychiatry
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid state medical license
- Proven experience in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their potential side effects
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines

Salary Range
