Job Responsibilities
- Help clients with everyday personal care duties, such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and using the restroom; assist with mobility and transfers; and ensure the comfort and safety of clients
- Remind patients to take their medications and assist with basic health monitoring
- Help with feeding and meal preparation, making sure dietary requirements and preferences are satisfiedCarry out simple housekeeping tasks to keep the space tidy and secure
- Provide company and take part in meaningful activities or conversations to improve mental health
- Inform family members or medical professionals of any changes in the client's behavior or health
- Follow all safety, health, and confidentiality guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in personal care, home health, or a related field is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients, with the physical stamina to perform various caregiving tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Salary Range
