Job Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and provide necessary counseling on usage, dosage, and potential side effects
- Monitor patient medication therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Review and verify prescriptions for errors, drug interactions, and contraindications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible pharmaceutical care
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and other health topics related to their medications
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient history, and medication use
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide immunizations and other health screenings as needed
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and practices
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service in a professional manner
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
- D) degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
- Previous experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, are provided.Brand Voice
