Everything accountants need to know about our new Premium pricing.

Starting in early July, the Premium plan will be priced at $180 per month plus $22 per person per month. This updated pricing will be available on our website and will apply to new Premium customers.

Premium pricing for Cannabis-Related Businesses (CRBs) and Multi-EIN Businesses will continue to be tailored to their business sizes and needs. Call us for a quote.

There will be no change in features for the Premium plan.

We have listened to customer feedback and understand that clarity on our Premium plan pricing is important to you and your clients. In response, we are transitioning from a model where customers needed to talk to Sales to receive a quote for our Premium Plan, to a new transparent pricing model. Pricing information for our Premium plan will now be publicly available on our website, allowing customers to make informed decisions independently. 

We understand that CRBs and Multi-EIN Businesses face unique challenges. We are committed to understanding these challenges, continuing to support these businesses, and being a trusted partner as they grow. Their monthly prices will continue to be tailored to their business sizes and needs. Call our Sales team for a quote.

No, the Premium plan will have the same robust set of features you know and love.

There’s no action needed from you for your existing clients who are on a Premium plan. We will automatically migrate them to the new Premium pricing or keep them on their current Premium pricing in the coming months. We will inform you and your clients who are billed directly by Gusto of the migration date at least 30 days in advance.

CRBs and Multi-EIN Businesses will stay on their current Premium pricing. 

All other businesses will either move to the new Premium pricing at $180 per month plus $22 per month per person, or stay on their current Premium pricing, based on the following criteria:

On the day that the migration date is announced:

• If the total Premium plan cost on their latest invoice is higher than or the same as the cost they would pay under the new Premium pricing, they will be moved to the new Premium pricing to reduce or maintain cost. 

• If the total Premium plan cost on their latest invoice is lower than the cost they would pay under the new Premium pricing, they will stay on their current Premium pricing to maintain cost. However, if they downgrade to another plan, and later decide to upgrade to Premium again, they will be on the new Premium plan pricing.

The list of your existing Premium clients and their migration treatment will be shared with you at least 30 days in advance of the migration date.

There is no change in the features that they are getting access to.

No, all of your clients currently on Premium plans will either pay the same Premium plan cost or less after the migration.

We don’t know when in 2024 or beyond we might deprecate the legacy lineup, and we’re not able to commit to a specific time frame at this point. But we will commit to provide ample notice if we plan to make changes. 

However, if these clients downgrade to another plan and later decide to upgrade to Premium again, they will be transitioned to the new Premium pricing of $180 per month plus $22 per month per person.

Existing Premium clients who are billed directly by Gusto will be notified at least 30 days in advance of the migration date. Understanding that accounting professionals have different practices for billing clients for their software, we will not be communicating new pricing information with your firm-billed clients.

For all other businesses:

• Any new clients you bring onto the Gusto Premium plan will be put on the new Premium pricing starting early July.

• Any clients currently on Simple and Plus plans that you upgrade to the Premium plan will be put on the new Premium plan starting early July.

No, you will continue to schedule a call with Sales to be onboarded to the Premium plan. 

No, the pricing and packaging changes will not affect your Partner Program status.

No, we’ll continue to provide you with the same great service!

If you're participating in our rev-share program, your percentage based on your status level will not change. However, if you receive a rev-share from a client whose prices are being reduced, your share amount will also be reduced due to the new lower price.

Yes, all Premium plans will benefit from a discount that is passed on to the customer based on your current level status. Remember, multiple discounts are applied sequentially and not added together.
