Job Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and guest accounts, ensuring all charges are accurate and properly posted
- Reconcile daily revenue and complete end-of-day reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries, providing excellent customer service throughout
- Manage reservation changes, cancellations, and special requests during the night shift
- Handle any guest concerns or issues, ensuring resolutions are found promptly and professionally
- Maintain the security of the property by monitoring security systems and conducting regular checks of the premises
- Handle payments and provide visitors their receipts
- Assist with preparing and delivering a smooth transition between night and day staff
- Communicate any important information or updates to the daytime team to ensure continuity of operations
- Ensure the front desk and common areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or business is a plus
- Proven experience in a front desk, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using hotel management software and other office tools
- Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience with hotel reservations systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro) is a plus
