As a project manager, you’ll oversee the planning, execution, and closure of company projects. You’ll work with different departments to ensure each team member gets the support needed to complete their tasks on time and within the agreed-upon budget. You must be able to handle unexpected problems that may arise during the project’s life cycle. The essential function of your role is to spearhead our project management efforts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to the desired quality level.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage full-scale project plans using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Estimate costs for each task and phase of the project and understand how these costs fit into the overall project budget.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a project following established rules, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Monitor the progress of each task and phase to ensure successful completion within predetermined deadlines.
  • Track the progress of projects against agreed timelines and budgets; take corrective action wherever necessary. 
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project plans.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction. Communicate project progress regularly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, set clear goals, delegate tasks, and foster collaboration among team members to ensure the success of projects.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
  • Identify, address, and resolve project-related issues and conflicts that may arise during the project’s course.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
  • At least two years of professional experience in project management, with a track record of managing complex projects and producing successful project deliveries.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing projects and teams with high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Experience in managing client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Working knowledge of software used for project planning, development, and tracking.
  • Adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. Experience with agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.

Salary Range

The salary for the Project Manager position typically ranges from $50,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
