Construction Project Manager Job Description
We seek an experienced and dedicated Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. As a critical team member, you will oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
Develop project plans and budgets and manage project timelines and resources.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to clearly understand project goals and progress.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and provide guidance to contractors.
Review and approve construction plans, designs, and materials to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
Prepare regular progress reports and update stakeholders on project status.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure success.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet project specifications and industry standards.
Proactively identify and resolve project issues and obstacles that may arise.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols on-site.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (MBA in Human Resources Management is a plus).
Minimum of (x) years experience in construction project management.
Proven track record of successfully managing commercial and residential construction projects within budget and on schedule.
Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Thorough understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
