Merchandiser Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to improve product placement and appeal

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure stock availability

• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional displays and seasonal setups

• Ensure that product displays are aligned with brand standards and company guidelines

• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product placement and assortments

• Train and support sales associates in understanding the visual and layout strategies

• Maintain store layout and ensure visual standards are upheld consistently

• Assist with the setup of promotional events and in-store campaigns

• Perform regular store visits to assess display effectiveness and adjust as needed

• Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement based on market trends

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fashion, marketing, or related field is preferred

• Proven experience in merchandising or retail, preferably in a similar industry

• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and strategies

• Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and product lifecycles

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Salary Range

The salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are available to eligible employees.
