Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities and equipment run smoothly and are properly maintained. You will be in charge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, completing routine inspections, and assisting with preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and provide a safe and efficient working environment. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

  • Inspect and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across various systems

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on a regular schedule

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and work orders

  • Assist with facility upgrades or installations as needed

  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree is a plus)Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field

  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems for work order management

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary Range

The base salary for this position is ranging from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level, with overtime opportunities available. In addition, the benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
