What is it?
Gusto recently announced early access to some new developer products, called Gusto Embedded Payroll, that enable software companies to build their own embedded payroll solutions.
What does it cost?
There’s a monthly cost, but every partnership is unique. You’ll work with a member of our team to determine the functionality and pricing structure that works for your business.
How much work will this be to develop?
Because there’s so much you can do with Gusto Embedded Payroll, the level of work depends on your unique needs and what you want to build. The goal is to help you build high quality payroll that your customers love. We’ll provide direct consultation and technical support throughout your entire development process.
How do I get started?
You can get up and running with our APIs by creating a developer account. To get your early-access production keys, you’ll need to talk to our Partnerships team. Submit your interest here.
Will we have developer support as we build out the integration?
We’re here to make sure everything launches smoothly. We have fully staffed Integrations and Developer Relations teams to guide you in the build process.
Will Gusto provide benefits and HR tools on top of payroll?
We’re starting with payroll, but will expand to the whole suite of Gusto products over time. Plus, we’re open to feedback about what types of tools your customers most want — benefits enrollment, hiring and onboarding, org charts, you name it.
What if we already have an integration with Gusto?
That’s great! You can have an app integration with Gusto as well as your own payroll product built into your platform. Customers would simply choose to use Gusto payroll or your payroll based on their needs. In fact, if you have an existing integration, you’ve already done a lot of the heavy lifting to get started with Gusto Embedded Payroll. Reach out to your Gusto Partner Manager to learn more.
