Material Handler Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Accept, unload, and examine incoming supplies and goods
• Accurately and safely store materials in the appropriate locations
• Update material transportation data to maintain inventory
• Assemble manufacturing materials, making sure the right things are retrieved and delivered on schedule
• Use material handling tools like pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe and effective manner
• Manage reordering levels and perform routine stock checks
• Collaborate closely with other divisions to guarantee efficient operations and precise inventories
• Follow safety procedures and keep your workspace neat and orderly
• Help with packing and shipping tasks as required

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 5

Salary Range
