Xero Accounting Software is cloud-based accounting made for small businesses. Connect Xero to your bank to easily see financial information, send invoices, pay bills, and keep an eye on your finances from anywhere, anytime.
Getting Started
- Click Connect
- Enter your Xero credentials
- Select the Xero organisation to connect with Gusto
- Click Authorize to allow Xero and Gusto to sync
- Map your chart of accounts (learn more about types of account mappings)
- Choose your preferred integration settings

Requirements
A Xero organisation can be connected to one Gusto account at a time. The Xero integration is available on all Gusto plans. Your sync options will vary depending on your Xero edition:
- If you have a Business edition plan with Xero, you'll have the option to sync Bills or Journals to Xero.
- If you have a Partner edition plan with Xero, such as the Cashbook or Ledger plan, you'll be able to sync Journals to Xero.
