I have always admired accountants. Their hard work creates a symbiotic relationship with the business owners they serve and should be applauded. Witnessing the impact firsthand on my parents’ small business inspired me to become an accountant and a founder of my cloud-accounting practice, AdvisorFi. As my practice grew, I realized that accountants and small businesses could have a tremendous impact on the communities around them when they work together. They create powerful engines of growth when they help each other flourish.

I’m grateful to now have the opportunity to give back to the community that has given me so much in the past. I’m thrilled to announce I’ve joined Gusto as its head of accountant community.

Today more than 4,000 accountants and bookkeepers partner with Gusto to help serve more than 60,000 small businesses guided by a shared mission to create a world where work empowers a better life.

As the head of Gusto’s accountant community, I will advocate for, and help identify, more opportunities for accountants, bookkeepers, and other advisors to better support small businesses. I’m inspired to build a community that can be a voice for small business owners and their trusted advisors so that we can create more value together.

If you have ideas or suggestions for me, leave them in the comments below. I can’t wait to get started!

I will be at Xerocon San Diego and would love to meet you. Stop by the Gusto booth or catch me to chat about how we can build a community together.
