The Custom MHT Loan Fund offers businesses customizable loans to support real estate acquisitions, expansions, and improvements in downtown Manchester. The loan term cannot exceed 10 years.

Northeast Angels is an organization that provides loans to entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses located in New England. Preference is given to businesses within driving distance of Nashua, New Hampshire. The group may also provide business mentorship and advice.

Loan or Grant title: Commercial Loans
The Community Loan Fund provides loans ranging from $10,000 to $1 million to small businesses in New Hampshire. (In some circumstances, loans over $1 million are possible, depending on the lender.) Businesses operating for the past 12 months may qualify, and the loan funds can be used for purchasing equipment and other fixed assets, acquiring businesses, buying or improving land and buildings, marketing, developing new products, and expanding inventory.

New Hampshire’s State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) offers Financial Assistance Award (FAA) grants to businesses that need help promoting their export-related activities. Eligible businesses can receive 80% of their project costs reimbursed up to $7,500 for a STEP 11 award and $8,000 for a STEP 12 award.

WorkInvestNH is a job training grant available to businesses in or willing to relocate to New Hampshire that provide comprehensive job training for their workers. Eligible companies can receive matching funds (up to $70,000) to cover on-site training, basic skills training, technical skills training, quality improvements and safety training, management and supervision training, and English as a second language training.
