
2024’s Economy Lays the Groundwork for a Steady 2025

On March 1, 2021, Gusto joined a letter urging Congress to extend the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) until at least June 30, 2021.
Last week, the Biden administration announced changes to the PPP to make the program more inclusive and accessible to under-served small businesses. The coalition of organizations, companies, and individuals applauds the direction of these changes and the renewed effort to build upon and improve the PPP. However, these changes will make it even harder for the millions of small businesses working on PPP applications to submit applications prior to the current deadline of March 31st.
