2024’s Economy Lays the Groundwork for a Steady 2025

On March 8th, 2023, Gusto’s Head of Government Affairs testified before the California Senate Governance and Finance Committee during an Oversight Hearing focused on the barriers for employers to utilize the New Employee Tax Credit, an incentive for ERs to hire workers from target populations, such as SNAP recipients and ex-offenders.

Steve also has experience working for Congress and was a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations advising them on public policy.
