New pricing for Premium plan

Everything accountants need to know about optional year end tax filing fees.

As of July 1st, 2024, during the process of suspending or canceling a client’s Gusto account, you’re now asked if you want Gusto to file the quarterly and year-end tax forms for this client for an additional fee. These fees are:

Federal forms: $100
State forms: $100 per state
W-2/1099: $5 per form

This service is optional, and you are under no obligation to purchase it . If you choose to have Gusto file the taxes, the additional fee will be included in the final invoice for this client. If you reactivate this client’s Gusto account within the calendar year, the filing fee will be refunded.
