Gusto CEO Joshua Reeves Urges California to Develop a Major Small Business Relief Program

Gusto CEO Joshua Reeves joined Pat Fong Kushida, president and CEO of the CalAsian Chamber of Commerce, Julian Cañete, president and CEO of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, and Edwin Lombard, president and CEO of the California Black Chamber of Commerce in calling on Governor Newsom and the California Legislature to provide a financial lifeline to the small businesses that put nearly half of all Californians to work. The op-ed urges California policymakers to implement a large-scale small-business relief program that prioritizes small businesses left out of the federal Paycheck Protection Program, specifically minority-owned businesses, sole proprietorships and businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
