In March 2023, Gusto sent a letter to House and Senate Appropriations Committees to urge support for funding to support small businesses and their employees. Specifically, the letter urged Congressional leaders to support programs proven to support underserved entrepreneurs. Small businesses continue to face economic headwinds in a tight labor market, inflationary pressures, and increased borrowing costs, and Congress has a responsibility to maintain support for the backbone of our economy.
