SAN FRANCISCO (June 16, 2014) — ZenPayroll, the leading provider of delightful, modern payroll, announced today that ZenPayroll is joining Intuit’s Apps.com partner platform and will offer a seamless integration with QuickBooks Online.
Small businesses are using cloud services to displace old desktop technology or previously manual, cumbersome tasks — helping them run their businesses more efficiently. According to a recent study by Microsoft, the number of small businesses with less than 10 employees using paid cloud services will triple in the next three years. In the face of this proliferation of web applications, it’s more important than ever for platforms to be open and online tools to integrate with each other.
The new integration between ZenPayroll and QuickBooks Online enables small businesses to seamlessly log into ZenPayroll from their trusted online accounting platform. Business owners can also see total wages, taxes, and reimbursements automatically appear in QuickBooks Online every time they run payroll. This saves customers from having to enter data manually, saving time and preventing costly errors.
“We built QuickBooks Online as an open platform, allowing small businesses to seamlessly connect QuickBooks Online to their favorite services, like ZenPayroll,” said Avi Golan, vice president, Intuit Partner Platform. “We’re excited to offer ZenPayroll to our growing community of QuickBooks Online users via Apps.com.”
“Many of our customers rely on QuickBooks Online for their accounting needs,” said Joshua Reeves, CEO of ZenPayroll. “By joining Intuit Apps.com, we can provide small businesses and accountants with streamlined access to payroll and more visibility into their expenses.”
“As small businesses seek to reduce costs, increase employee delight, and improve their processes, they are moving their clients to cloud technology like ZenPayroll,”said Doug Sleeter, founder and president of The Sleeter Group. “Having recently chosen ZenPayroll to manage our own payroll, we are thrilled about the integration with QuickBooks Online. This makes ZenPayroll a compelling choice for businesses as well as accountants who provide payroll services to small business clients.”
