Downtown LA Historic Gem

The Biltmore is an LA classic. The architecture is gorgeous, especially in the ballrooms. There’s a great sitting area where you can have afternoon tea or cocktails. This is an older hotel so don’t expect fancy amenities. But it is rich rich rich with character. My hotel room was clean and comfortable. Fixtures in the bathroom were dated but still in great working condition and clean. Great central location. Across the street is Pershing Square which is an interesting public art display. On the other side of the hotel, you are within walking distance of the LA Public Library (great blend of old and new architecture, and fantastic public art display) and some great restaurants like Cafe Pinot.
