i was impressed

this place is great, but it was freakin’ packed when i was there (on a saturday in the middle of march…go figure). i would get tickets online in advance and pick them up at will call if you can, because the line just to pay and get inside is huge. wandering around to look at all the little fish in their tanks just didn’t interest me when there are dolphins, penguins (yea!), whales and sea lions to be admired and laughed at (in a loving way, of course). get to the dolphin show early so you can get a good seat. i could spend hours watching the beluga whales swim around…they are so beautiful. you’ll also enjoy the great view of lake michigan through the floor-to-ceiling windows behind the dolphin pool. all in all, this is a wonderful aquarium…great for families.
