Originally financed in 1927 by actor producer director Charlie Chaplin, this hotel is surrounded by million dollar estates and the San Ysidro foothills. The hotel’s newly redesigned guest rooms are decorated using classic patterns and furnishings, and warm tones. The bathrooms are adorned with hand painted tiles. Though modest in size, the rooms are comfortable and equipped with all modern conveniences, like a flat screen TV and high speed Internet access. Downstairs, the popular Montecito Café offers California Nouveau cuisine, while the Bar offers a special appetizer menu, fine wines, and cocktails.
