Downtown Treasure. Public Art Delight

"If you are visiting downtown Los Angeles, be sure to check out the Los Angeles Public Library. It’s just a block away from the historic Biltmore Hotel. The library’s architecture, public art and landscaping are spectacular. The children’s library has a beautiful mural and the furniture is beautiful old wood. Experience what a REAL library should look and feel like. My favorite thing to do is take the escalator ride so I can see the funky mobile art pieces that hang from the ceiling. There are also some funky lantern pedestal things. The library is a fascinating blend of old and new. I recommend lunch at Cafe Pinot after you tour the library….or grab a coffee at the Coffee Bean cafe across the street."
