Excellent Accomodations!

"I just stayed here as one of my mini getaways for the year. Everything went wrong that could go wrong, but Tenaya made it right, and that's what counts in the end. I ended up getting a Junior suite, a free upgrade, because by the time I got there, lost as I was, my room was long time given away. The upstairs was kind of noisy, but I took it in stride because my room was just so roomy and cozy, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. It had a gigantic closet, extra pillows, a microwave in the room, in room refrigerator, and ice bucket, and lovely Seattle's best coffee for my morning. During my stay somehow there was confusion over my nature hike. It ended up getting cancelled because 4 people hadn't signed up, and someone forgot to pack my lunch at the time I had requested. once again, the hotel really righted things. they gave me a discount on my lunch, and when I went back to the activities service to get better directions home they told me they had heard how stressed and dissapointed I was, and the manager, Scott, said I could have a private hike on them. I see that if you look at life with the glass half full, then nice things happen to you. I don't think any place is perfect, per say, but the manager's and staff at Teneya Lodge, really do go out of their way to make sure if anything is wrong, it is made right, and that to me is worth more than all the pleasant places in the world put together. Tenaya, you are a 5 in my book. I'll go back again some day."

Recommended, especially for families

"I stayed here for one night around the Christmas holiday, but not on Christmas itself, and it was full. Full service resort with all the ammenities and would have been quite luxurious if it weren’t for the contstant children playing. Lots of activities to join in that looked like a bunch of fun, excellent service from the hotel and restaurant staff, pretty good food in the restaurant, although the antlers hanging around were a bit much. I think it would be better for a family than trying to relax as a single or couple, as it got noisy at times, but that could have also been due to the holiday. It’s def. worth adding to your list of places to check out."
